Superiority of Numbers
Definition
In tactics, as in strategy, superiority of numbers is the most common element in victory. Clausewitz pushes back on the romantic idea that genius routinely overcomes large numerical odds. Concentrate force; do not rely on brilliance to rescue inferior numbers.
