Deputy for Acquisition & Systems Management (SAAL-ZS)

SAAL-ZS is the ASAALT office that watches how Army programs actually execute. It provides acquisition oversight and systems management across the Army’s portfolio acquisition executives and capability program executives, which makes it the staff element a program office deals with when execution questions rise above the program level.
