IWTSD

The Irregular Warfare Technical Support Directorate is the Defense Department’s rapid prototyping shop for irregular warfare and counterterrorism technology. Formerly the Combating Terrorism Technical Support Office, it works under the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Special Operations and Low-Intensity Conflict and funds fast, small, interagency development efforts rather than programs of record. Its solicitations are one of the more accessible entry points into the department for non-traditional vendors.
