The synchronized application of multiple combat arms (infantry, armor, artillery, engineers, aviation) to produce effects greater than the sum of parts.
Principle
Each arm has strengths and vulnerabilities. Combined employment forces the adversary into a dilemma — countering one arm exposes vulnerability to another.
