Army Contracting Command (ACC)
ACC is the Army’s contracting workhorse. It awards and administers contracts worldwide for the Army, from installation support to major weapon systems, through subordinate commands covering expeditionary and mission and installation contracting. It answers to Army Materiel Command for command purposes and to ASAALT for contracting policy, which makes it the execution end of the policy DASA_Procurement writes.

No Title 10 section establishes Army Contracting Command by name. It is a major subordinate command of AMC, created under the Secretary of the Army’s authority to organize the Department of the Army at 10 U.S.C. § 7013(b)(2), and it executes contracting authority delegated from the Secretary of the Army, the organizing authority described at Title_10_Structure.
